Return & Refund Policy

At Tapkx, every keyboard is custom-assembled and undergoes strict quality control. Please review our policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. 14-Day Return Policy (Strictly Unopened Only)

We accept returns for "Change of Mind" within 14 days of delivery ONLY if the item is in its original, unopened packaging with factory seals intact.

Due to the custom nature of our products, we DO NOT accept returns for opened or used keyboards. Once the packaging seal is broken, the sale is considered final and non-refundable (unless a manufacturing defect is found).

*Please choose carefully. We do not offer "trial" or "satisfaction" returns for opened items.

2. Restocking Fee & US Return Facilities

  • Restocking Fee: If you choose to return a non-defective, unopened item, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover handling and transaction costs.
  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Return Addresses (For Authorized Returns Only):
    To ensure a smooth return process, Tapkx utilizes multiple return facilities across the United States. Upon receiving your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), our support team will assign the nearest facility to you from our network:

    *Note: You MUST contact us at contact@tapkx.com to receive an RMA and the specific assigned address before sending any items back. Unapproved returns will be rejected.

3. 14-Day Quality Guarantee (Defective Items)

If your keyboard arrives with any manufacturing defects, functional issues, or shipping damage, please notify us within 14 days of delivery. For valid quality claims, we will arrange a free replacement or full refund and cover the return shipping costs.

How to Initiate a Quality Claim:

  • Provide Evidence: Email contact@tapkx.com with your order number and clear photos/videos showing the defect.
  • Assessment: We will inspect the evidence to confirm the defect. Subjective dissatisfaction (e.g., "I don't like the switch sound") is NOT covered under the Quality Guarantee.

4. Shipping Delays & Lost Packages

As stated in our Shipping Policy, standard delivery typically takes 6-10 business days after processing. While we are not responsible for minor delays caused by local customs or couriers, we guarantee the final delivery of your order.

Item Not Received: If a package is confirmed lost by the courier or is not delivered within 60 days of shipment, we will issue a full refund or resend the order free of charge.

5. Refunds Processing

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the return to confirm it is unopened or defective.
