Return & Refund Policy
At Tapkx, we take pride in every custom keyboard we build. Please review this policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities, as well as the limitations that apply to your purchase of our handcrafted products.
1. Core Policy for Custom Products
All Tapkx keyboards are custom-assembled and handcrafted to your order. Therefore, We generally do not accept returns, exchanges, or provide refunds based on personal subjective reasons once production has begun or the order has been shipped.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Change of mind.
- Dislike of the sound or feel of the switches (unless defective).
- Discrepancy in color or appearance due to monitor settings.
- Ordering the wrong configuration by mistake.
We comply with applicable consumer protection laws. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
2. Quality Guarantee & Warranty
We stand behind the quality and functionality of our products.
a) Damaged or Defective Upon Arrival
If your keyboard arrives with physical damage, a manufacturing defect, or is not functioning as described, please contact us immediately.
How to Initiate a Claim:
- Timeframe: Notify us within 14 days of delivery.
- Provide Evidence: Email us at contact@tapkx.com with your order number, clear photos, and/or a video clearly showing the issue.
- Resolution: Once the issue is confirmed, we will gladly offer a repair, part replacement, or a full product replacement at our discretion. For returns required under this guarantee.
b) Limited Warranty
All Tapkx keyboards are covered by a 180 days limited warranty from the date of delivery, which covers manufacturing and workmanship defects.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., keycap shine, minor scratches).
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, liquid spills, or power surges.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or repairs by a third party.
3. Refunds (If Applicable)
Refunds are only considered at our discretion for confirmed defective items that cannot be repaired or replaced. They are not granted for subjective reasons.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original method of payment within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
4. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after 10 business days from our confirmation email, please:
- Check with your bank or payment provider, as processing times can vary.
- If the issue persists, contact us at contact@tapkx.com with your order details, and we will assist in investigating.
