Tapkx Limited Warranty
We’re a small, hands-on team. We take quality seriously and try to keep things simple & fair.
All Tapkx products are covered by a 180-day limited warranty starting from the purchase date. This covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues under normal use. The warranty applies to the original purchaser or the gift recipient and is not transferable.
What’s Covered
- Manufacturing defects that affect normal function (electrical, mechanical, structural).
- Workmanship issues observed during regular, intended use.
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear, aesthetic scratches, keycap shine, or age-related degradation.
- Accidental damage, misuse/abuse, liquid ingress, excessive heat, impact, exposure to corrosive chemicals.
- Unauthorized repair, disassembly, modification, or customizations (including PCB/switch mods that cause damage).
- Lost accessories, packaging, gifts or freebies included in the box.
If Your Item Arrives Defective
If a manufacturing defect is found within 7 days of delivery, we’ll provide a free replacement and cover the outbound shipping. After 7 days, shipping costs related to the claim are the customer’s responsibility.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Email service@tapkx.com with:
- Your order number (proof of purchase) and purchase date.
- A brief description of the issue and how it appears.
- Clear photos or a short video that shows the problem.
- We usually reply within 24–48 business hours (Mon–Fri). During busy seasons/holidays it might take a bit longer — thanks for your patience.
- Once approved, we’ll share the next steps (repair, replacement, or parts) and any shipping instructions.
Purchase Channels
Warranty applies to products purchased from tapkx.com or authorized Tapkx distributors. Purchases from unauthorized resellers or second-hand marketplaces are not covered.
Important Notes
- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty requests.
- Replacement or repaired items do not reset or extend the original warranty period.
- Tapkx may use an equivalent or refurbished unit/part as a replacement when appropriate.
- For international customers, shipping and customs may vary by region and are communicated case-by-case.
- Tapkx reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility after inspection and testing.
